CAS NO. 9010-75-7
H.S.CODE: 3904.69.9000
APPLICATIONS:
1. Due to high water-proof (30 times higher than polyethylene) and chemical resistance (1% swelling after one month exposure to concentrated acids and alkalis), CTFE/VDF LM copolymer is applied for manufacturing of special anticorrosive and heat-resistant (up to +200oC) varnishes and enamels.
2. Due to high surface tension CTFE/VDF copolymer is an excellent film former on different surfaces, including lamination of fabrics.
3. CTFE/VDF film has > 90% solar light transmission and is highly transparent in near-UV and near-infrared region of the spectrum, what finds application in optical industry, infrared windows in missiles, radome covers and gage faces.
4. Material is steam and gamma sterilizable, biochemically inert (it does not support the growth of bacteria) and is extruded CTFE/VDF film suitable for food or pharmaceutical packaging.
5. VDF as a comonomer improves flexibility and facilitates process in such application as tubing (consumer electronics, automotive, healthcare, industrial).
Upper / Lower service temperature : +200oC (+392oF) / -60oC (-76oF)
