F-4D suspensions are used for manufacturing of threads and coatings.
F-4D powder is used for manufacturing of fluoroplast sealing material (FUM), thin-wall extruded tubes, wire coatings, seal lips for threaded joints and other articles.
Sealing articles made of F-4D are used in wide range of temperatures and pressures (FUM is used at temperature range from – 600°С to + 1500°С and pressure range up to 64 atmospheres).

Fluoroplast-4D (F-4D) is a product of TFE polymerization. It is a fine modification of PTFE with smaller molecular weight. Properties of F-4D and F-4 are the same.

F-4D in contrast to F-4 is easily processed by means of extrusion; it is used for manufacturing suspensions as well (see Fluoroplast suspensions). It allows manufacturing articles that cannot be manufactured from F-4 (thin-wall extruded tubes, film coatings) or is difficult to manufacture (tubes, sticks etc.)
F-4D application makes production of articles from PTFE more effective and profit-proved.
