R-23 is a colorless gas without odor, not flammable, not explosive, inert, non toxic. R-23 is used as refrigerant in organic synthesis industry, as dry etching agent during the production of very-large-scale integration circuit, as agent for fire-extinguisher and as foaming agent for polyurethane.
