Tungsten hexafluoride is a transparent, colorless gas fuming in air. It is a toxic, non-flammable, non-explosive. It does not form flammable and explosive mixtures with air. It is used to obtain of the tungsten coating, powdery tungsten and tungsten isotope separation.
