Hexafluoropropylene is a gas without color and odor under normal conditions. It is a difficult-flammable gas, the mixtures of hexafluoropropylene with air don’t inflame from electric spark. Hexafluoropropylene is used for the production of copolymers with tetrafluoroethylene and other fluoromonomers and for various fluororganic syntheses.
