Caustic soda

Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) is an inorganic chemical compound from the group of hydroxides, which belongs to the strongest alkali. In liquid form it is a colorless, non-flammable liquid without any smell. Our caustic soda is produced at the HaloPolymer Kirovo-Chepetsk facility in strict accordance with GOST 11078-78 (Mark A) in the form of solution with concentration of 46-49%. Caustic soda belongs to the group of basic chemical raw materials, so it finds application practically in any industry:

• In the oil sector - as a pH-regulating agent and for cleaning of oil and petroleum products. Caustic soda is also used in the production of oil products.
• In the pulp and paper industry - in the manufacture of paper, cardboard, man-made fibers, wood-fiber boards.
• In the food industry - for cleaning industrial equipment, pipelines of stainless and carbon steel.
• In the process of water treatment - to neutralize acids and their oxides in water.
• In construction - in the production of building materials (aerated concrete).
• At home - for washing sewerage, heating systems (cast iron, carbon steel).
• In livestock - for cleaning and disinfecting livestock complexes/premises.
